Research centre on “Responsible Media Technology & Innovation” to be established in Media City Bergen. 

Fonn Group with companies Mjoll and 7Mountains will participate in the research center in cooperation with the University of Bergen and centre partners NRK, TV 2, IBM, Vizrt, Amedia, Vimond, Schibsted, BT, and Wolftech.  

“Today’s announcement from the Research Council of Norway is fantastic news”, says CEO of Fonn Group, Håvard Myklebust. “We are truly honored to be part of this research initiative that now will happen in the heart of Media City Bergen!”, he adds. 

For Fonn Group companies Mjoll and 7Mountains the participation in the research centre means being actively involved in highly relevant research in the fields of media production and analysis; fields that are at the heart of what the companies do. 7Mountains are the inventors of DiNA, a story-centric tool for journalists that moves newsrooms to the cloud. Mjoll offers the groundbreaking solution Mimir, for cloud based media management that brings AI technology to end users.
