To keep pace with demand in the UK and Ireland region and best serve customers there, Fonn Group is expanding its footprint in the territory with the appointment of Mark Harris as Customer Success Manager.
Mark began his career in broadcast in the late 1990s with Omnibus Systems, during a pivotal period when the industry was transitioning from tape-based workflows to video servers and non-linear editing systems.
In 2003, he joined the video technology team at Associated Press (APTN), where he played a key role in the organization’s shift from tape to digital workflows. Over his 17-year tenure with AP, Mark led several global technology initiatives. One of the most profound came at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, when he and his team successfully enabled hundreds of video producers around the world to transition from office-based production, using on-premise systems, to working fully remote via the cloud - all within a matter of weeks.
Following his time at AP, Mark spent two years consulting for Reuters, before becoming the UK & Ireland agent for Fonn Group. In this role, he was instrumental in driving regional growth.
